The Celestial Wave Diamond Band

An 18K yellow gold wave band with 0.30 carats of round diamonds set along two overlapping, tapering ends, from Bait Al Diblah in Oman. Two curves that pass each other and never quite meet.

The band opens at the front into two long, tapering arms that sweep past each other like two waves crossing, each lined with a row of small round diamonds. The gap between them is deliberate: it gives the ring movement and lets the light travel from one diamond line to the other, so the finger always seems to be catching the glow.

From the side it is a smooth gold band, and from the front it is a quiet constellation of stones. The diamonds are set close together in tiny claws, and the arms narrow to soft, rounded points so nothing snags or presses. The ring weighs 3.410 g of 18K yellow gold, with enough presence to wear alone and a line clean enough to stack.
